Royal Survey Cabinet

The Royal Survey Cabinet (RSC) is the internal regulation agency of the Rashian Empire. It was created In the 5th year of the reign of Emir Ashan al-Rashia, leader of the Rashian Empire. The RSC was created primarily as a way for Emire Ashan to regulate the amount of taxes he could raise by gaining a more detailed knowledge of the number and composition of his subjects.

First tasked with counting numbers and wealth in assets, the RSC was so successful that their funding and power was expanded under Emir Wissam al-Rashia, grandson of Emir Ashan, in the 3rd year of his reign. Today, the RSC holds regular surveys, but also has the power to collect royal taxes and requisition supplies for the Royal Army and all other government agencies.

The Royal Survey Cabinet has its headquarters in the capital of the Rashia Empire, Bashashar as well as branch offices in other larger cities and towns throughout the Empire. The headquarter is found in a large sandstone building in the Royal Quarter of Bashashar. In the headquarters can be found the general offices of RSC employees as well as those of the Royal Surveyor and the Royal Revenue Minister.
